Chicago’s B96 has added several new singles this week, but Lady Gaga’s latest single “You and I” isn’t one of them. Actually, it has failed to make the playlist of many radio stations in the country. It is important to note that the radio add date has not been determined, but as radio programmer Jared Stelling tells us, add dates have no significance in radio anymore.
“Once radio stations get word of a new single from an established artist like Lady Gaga, they are free to add it to playlists. However, this hasn’t happened. There is a huge Lady Gaga backlash right now. Her album only sold so many copies because it was reduced for 99 cents.” As of early this morning, “You and I” was stalled on the iTunes charts at #187.
Lady Gaga is about to release a book of explicit photos that are similar to what Madonna did with her SEX book back in 1992.
