North American Drum and Bass music artists NC-17 (Toronto/Cleveland) and KRYTERIA (Florida) along with local Denver talent will be the featured at Here Comes the Bass, hosted by Recon and DnbRadio, on Thursday August 18th at Sutra Nightclub’s main stage at 1109 Lincoln Street, Denver, CO between 9:00pm and 2:00am. Admission is free and open to 21+ patrons with ID. Donations will be taken at the door to help support the cause.
Fast-paced bass music will be the theme for all artists – with locals Syntax + Phil-e and out-of-state artists, NC-17 and KRYTERIA performing as the main performance of the night. This will be NC-17’s first time CO appearance. And Kryteria’s 2nd time appearance, but as an added bonus this time all three original members from Kryteria are performing! These two drum and bass acts will be representing a variety of reputable record labels, such as DSCI4, Renegade Hardware, Viper Recordings, Ammunition, C4C Recordings, Close to Death and many more. This promises to be night packed full of never before heard tunes and killer forthcoming colabs. Various styles of drum & bass music will be performed with emphasis on the dark, techy neurofunk, and heavy moods in bass music.
If you are wondering what the heck Drum & Bass is, it’s a fast-tempo style of dance music that has emphasis on bass frequencies. Recon (Denver) and DnbRadio is a coalition of like-minded dj’s and artists who have been pushing various styles of this genre of the past 10 years.
