If Kim Kardashian or anyone else wants to remove her much-debated sex tape from the market, she is going to have to pay up. Just how much? Let’s just say it could cost about twice as much as what Kim ended up earning for selling all sorts of media coverage for her wedding to Kris Humphries.
In an interview with TMZ, Vivid Entertainment head Steven Hirsch (who owns the rights to the tape) gave some sort of outline on a recent correspondence he had from a Tennessee lawyer representing a mystery client:
“Based on its long term value, it looks like $30 million would be a starting point for a discussion on all of the rights. I have no idea who is behind this offer … but If it’s Kim, I have a tremendous amount of respect for her. She has my number and can call me any time.”
There has been no shred of evidence that Kim herself is the mystery client in question here, but there have been hints in the past that she would someday like to remove the tape from the public eye if she ever had the appropriate funds in order to make it happen.
