The Central Exchange in Kansas City will host a seminar on Mastering the Art of NOT Multitasking, on Thursday, July 7 at Noon at its 6201 College Blvd., Overland Park, KS location.
The presenter will be Kelly Tyler, MBA, SPHR, and the fee to attend is free to members and $35 for non-members.
“While many assume that multitasking can improve productivity, research reveals that doing several things at once actually slows us down,” says Tyler.
She explains that we need to worry less about fitting more in and concern ourselves more about living “all-in.” Instead of working faster, she sees the benefits of slowing down to gain sharper focus.
Seminar participants will learn:
- The latest on brain research and taking pressure of yourself
- How to release the guilt of feeling you’re not doing enough
- Five strategies to employ to stop the madness of multitasking
