Jon Favreau appeared on the Howard Stern Show Thursday to talk about the release of his latest summer blockbuster ‘Cowboys and Aliens’ which opens Friday.
The half-Western, half-sci-fi foray into cinema stars Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford and Olivia Wilde in what Favreau hopes will be a boon for DreamWorks.

So just how much is Favreau planning on raking in? Pop culture guru Jon Hein says ‘Cowboys and Aliens’ is projected to score $40 million at the box office, but Favreau is aiming higher.
“I think we’ll do better than that,” Favreau told the HSS crew. “I hope we’ll do better.”
The film cost an estimate $153 million to make.
Favreau became a Stern Show regular after the King of All Media helped promote the original ‘Iron Man’ in 2008, before the director was known for making big budget action pics.
