The first ever Jewish Family Film Festival, a companion to the annual St. Louis Jewish Film Festival, will take place on Sunday, September 18 at the JCC Arts and Education Building. Four films will be shown over the course of the day, each one targeted at a specific age group. “The Sticky Shofar”, an episode of the TV series “Shalom Sesame”, is appropriate for kids age six and under, while “The Wave” will be shown for older teens. Other films include “Sixty Six” and “Circus Kids”, a documentary that follows the local circus troupe known as the St. Louis Arches.
Admission to “The Sticky Shofar” is free, but a reservation is required. Tickets to all other films are $7 apiece and can be purchased online now.
