The Israeli military believes it has obtained intelligence reports of a jihadist cell positioning itself to strike Israeli citizens. The cell is suspected of coming from Gaza and will make its way through the Sinai, according to Ynet News.
The cell likely has over 10 terrorists, and it is suspected that their attack will be focused along the Egyptian border, according to Israel National News This has prompted Israel to send two of its warships into the Red Sea, and so Iran has done the same.
Christian Minister Michael Youssef made it known eight months ago that the Egyptian uprising that was happening was not the positive democracy that western mainstream media thought it was, and he goes into a great bit of detail in his article posted at One News Now regarding that. In addition, he points out that for years, the Islamic extremists,“have longed to destroy the Egyptian peace treaty with Israel for which Mubarak was a guardian. As they waited, they quietly organized while supporting and supplying Hamas behind the scenes.
To be sure, the hard work and heavy price of the uprising was paid for not by the Islamists, but by a small group of genuine liberals from among Egypt’s educated young people. The Islamists watched from the shadows while some of these young people paid the ultimate price and died for the revolution. Once the revolution succeeded and Mubarak resigned, the Islamists came out of hiding and began flexing their muscles and are now running the country through intimidation and fear. Sadly, for some of us, but not the Obama administration, this was expected.”
Interestingly, a Reuters article reported on Monday that most American Muslims feel that Obama is doing a good job as President: “The general level of satisfaction among American Muslims was reflected in the 76 percent who approved of Obama’s performance as president — nine out of 10 said they voted for the Democrat in 2008. Muslim support for Obama contrasts with unfavourable views of his Republican predecessor, George Bush.”
However, Rasmussen reported last week that only 14 percent of American voters overall feel that Americas is “heading in the right direction.”
