Public Relations and Brand Marketing Interns
A local start-up cosmetic brand is currently seeking part-time interns in Public Relations and Brand Marketing.
The Public Relations and Brand Marketing interns will be actively enrolled in, or a recent graduate of a university/college with Majors in public relations, marketing, advertising or other related programs. Current students will preferably have at least sophomore standing. The individuals must demonstrate the ability to undertake basic writing assignments, and posses an understanding of company branding, basic media relations skills, and an ability to interact professionally with clients. They should also be highly innovative and energetic, have a working knowledge of computers, as well as word processing and database management software is necessary.
This is an unpaid internship and requires a minimum of 15-20 hours a week. The internship will provide great hands-on learning experience and awesome professional exposure. Political Development Group, LLC, a Democratic fundraising firm on Capitol Hill, seeks Fall interns from August 2011 to December 2011(dates are flexible). Political Development Group, LLC provides political consulting services and raises money for Democratic incumbents and candidates for the House of Representatives. Their clients include Members in positions of House Democratic leadership, the Congressional Black Caucus and the Congressional Hispanic Caucus.
They will be organizing new events and laying the groundwork for their clients’ success. Intern projects include donor research, event planning, administrative duties and working directly with the staffs of various top campaigns. The Intern will learn about campaign fundraising, be exposed to the workings of Capitol Hill, and be provided with great networking opportunities.
This unpaid internship requires a minimum of three (3) days a week and provides a great hands-on learning experience with good professional exposure. You will be provided with Metro fare reimbursement. Political experience a plus but not required.
