James Stevenson recently revealed several details regarding future patch fixes as well as possible tweaks for the multiplayer beta of Resistance 3.
The Senior Community Manager of Insomniac Games mentioned on the NeoGaf forum that they will be fixing the frame rate and crashing issues via a patch. Furthermore, the developer is looking to possibly tweaking the motion-blur effect, melee attacks, leveling rate in addition to other elements that affect the game’s balance. They may also raise the level cap in the beta in the future. These changes will be made to the “Day 1” patch for the final release of Resistance 3 first and then be applied to the ongoing beta. You can check out some screens of the upcoming first-person shooter in the slideshow to the left of this article and the full details on the fixes and possible tweaks below:

What’s next for the beta / R3?
We are currently busy working on our Day 1 Patch for Resistance 3, with many of the fixes and updates based on items you all have brought up here. We will then bring those fixes to the beta in a patch. We may also adjust the the level cap / progression at some point to allow you access to more items. This is still TBD, but we’ll try to keep you updated.
Resistance 3 will be released exclusively for the Playstation 3 in North America on September 6th.
