I wanna hear you say…Jump, Jump!

September 7, 2011

Sky High trampoline sports place is worth jumping up and down for! I’ve been hearing about this place for quite some time now and finally decided to make the trip and see what all the hype is about. It’s a place like I’ve never been to before. It’s very different and much cooler than the typical bounce houses that cater to kiddie parties. This place is the bouncy house facility on steriods! Yes, the facility is very popular for birthday parties but the place didn’t feel over run with a bunch of little kids. There was a good mix of adults, teens and kids bouncing about on trampolines, plunging into the foam pit and even playing dodge ball amongst each other. Although the people that where actually bouncing (not the moms just standing to side lines in their designer sandles) looked to be in pretty good shape the atmosphere was not at all intimidating and you can bounce at your own pace. I wasn’t sure what to expect so I arrived prepared for a workout in my yoga gear and shape up sneakers. This place really is a workout I broke a sweat within the first fiftenn minutes. The sports center even offers “Air-Robics” classes designed for all fitness levels. The class schedule is on the website. I found this place a fun way to spend the afternoon with my family in an interactive atmosphere that even my three year old could participate in. Needless to say this was more of an afternoon trip for me and my family than a day trip. We where tuckered out after a couple of hours of bouncing, dodging, playing video games and stopping by the large caferteria for a snack. The food area is a nicely seperated from the trampolines and has plenty of seating and offers pizza, drinks and pretzels among other goodies. The amount of time you spend there is really up to each individual group. Sessions are paid for by the hour so you can stay and play for as long or as little as you please.
