This past Tuesday’s episode of ‘Hell’s Kitchen’ was definitely up in flames and covered in shame. Following Amanda’s departure, the continued battle between Elise and Carrie only heated up further and the Red team is finding more problems along the way. The beginning test was very entertaining as the chefs must literally catch their own chickens resulting in how many ingredients they are allowed to use for the challenge. Now into the challenge, the first test is a “battle of the fried” and the Red team is not having a great start.
Carrie and Gina serve up a raw fried chicken while Paul (Blue team) serves a southern style fried chicken. The next “battle of the sauté” finds Jennifer and Krupa (Red team) serving a pleasing chicken cacciatore, while Will and Jonathon’s lemon and herb chicken excited the People’s Magazine guests greatly; resulting in points for both teams. The next test was the “battle of the grilled” which led to an unsuccessful turnout after Tommy and Monterray managed to drop part of their chicken, resulting in a point for the Red team. The final test was the “battle of the roast” and the Red team had much to celebrate as their win was due to Elise and Elizabeth’s dish which overtook Chino and Natalie’s.
While the women had a fun trip at K1 Speedway, the Blue team was left with preparing chicken stock for the next day. The next service however was not a fun one for either teams. With special guests arriving to enjoy the service, Monterray finds some disagreement with Sous-Chef Scott who yells at Monterray over his sea bass. To continue with this hiccup, Chino serves up some raw meat which angers Gordon Ramsay incredibly. As far as the Red team, Elise is continuing her trend of fighting with others and mistakenly serves up fish that is both raw and dry.
By this point, the Blue team’s kitchen has been shut down and the Red team must now pick up the service on both ends. Unfortunately, they are unable to deal with the pressure and after Gina serves up some raw lamb, the Red team’s kitchen is forced to shut down. Now with Gordon and his Sous-Chefs’ finishing up the service, Gordon is fully ready to send someone home. On the Blue team, Chino and Monterray are nominated for elimination while the Red team nominate Elise and Carrie. The tensions are high, especially regarding Elise’s attitude, but it is ultimately Chino who goes home and you can bet that the stakes have been raised even higher for these remaining 13 chefs’.
