Tis nearly fall in the Treasure Valley. A perfect time for the Harvest Festival in Boise. Sounds serene and bucolic, but that’s not the sound you’ll hear. Harvest Festival 2011 is an all day concert event at the Boise Knitting Factory, which will be held Saturday, September 17th. The event showcases a dozen of Idaho’s local Hard Rock and Heavy Metal talents.
The event was founded by Jason Harris of local Metal band Mortal Enemy and promoted by Danielle Collins, owner and operator of BBU Ent. Idaho.
Says Collins of the event:
“For years, good talent has gone to waste due to the fact that the current population in Idaho is more influenced by today’s pop culture. Harvest Fest is here to change minds about local hard rock and heavy metal music. It is a rare occasion when a local band gets signed to a record label, and I dont recall a local band ever getting signed to a major label. It’s time for change. It’s time to stand up for local bands. It’s time for local bands to stop going unnoticed. IT is time to stop sitting there and watching good talent go to waste! SUPPORT LOCAL MUSIC!!!”
The line-up for this event features some of the area’s most noted talents: Black Tooth Grin, Karin Comes Killing, Mortal Enemy, The Deep, Threshold, Half The World, Krystos, Scorch The Fallen, Kryterium, Yexotay, A Constant North, End of All Flesh
Tickets for this massive show start at only $15 and it’s All Ages.
