City to Take Over Golf Course
The Gulfport City Council voted to allow the city to take over maintenance operations of the Bayou Vista Golf Course temporarily. They are looking for a new operator.
A lease agreement with Triple Bogey Golf LLC expires has expired and the council wants to ensure operation of the course without interruption.
Gulfport’s Department of Leisure Services will assume management of the course immediately. In addition, the city expects to hire employees who are workers for Triple Bogey to provide a smooth transition.
Boat launches closed
