The Aquarium of the Pacific located in Long Beach will offer a day for anyone who’s over 50 years old to enter free of charge. The aquarium located at 100 Aquarium Way, Long Beach, CA 90802 and from 10 AM till 2 PM September 8, 2011 just show your formal ID and enter the aquarium at no charge.
For those who enjoy photographing aquatic and bird life this will be a great chance for you to capture images of the creatures offered at the aquarium. As you walk in the front doors of the Aquarium of the Pacific, there is a tank full of yellowtail swimming about that will make for some dramatic shots using different speed settings.
Shark Lagoon and, Lorikeet Forest Aviary are part of the 19 major habitats, along with changing exhibits at the Aquarium of the Pacific will give your camera plenty of action so you can concentrate images for the day. And because it’s free for that day maybe you can stop at one of the nearby restaurants since you will have some free cash in your pocket.
