If you’re out and about, in and amongst the mountains this weekend, you might want to stop by the Taste of Keystone at Keystone Resort on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sample fare from Keystone’s best restaurants so you know what you like when you head up to ski this season. Plus the event helps support Summit County Mountain Mentors.
Restaurants include Alpenglow Stube, Ski Tip Lodge, Keystone Ranch, Edgewater Café, Conference Center Pastry Shop, Black Bear Grill, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory and The Bighorn Steakhouse. Top it all off with the finest sweet treats from acclaimed pastry chef Ned Archibald. Here’s the day’s schedule for all you schedulers…
11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., bidding on Silent Auction for Mountain Mentor’s at the Lodge Terrace
11 a.m. to 3 p.m., restaurants open for sampling at the Lodge Terrace and Lakeside Village
11 a.m. to 12:30pm and 1-3 p.m., live music with the Jeremy Dion Trio
11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Children’s and Adventure Center activities
3 p.m., Mountain Mentor’s Silent Auction winners announced
Free parking will be available at the Keystone Lodge Parking Lot just off Highway 6 across from the Lodge; take the underground tunnel to the Village. To get there from I-70, take Highway 6 (Loveland Pass) toward Keystone (7 miles). Take the next left past Keystone stoplight to Lodge parking and take the underground walkway to Keystone Village. By the way, pets are prohibited at all Keystone Resort events.
