As suspected the reasons or cause of death of prominent pastor and community leader Dr. Zachery Tims has quieted. After reading today fellow examiner Roz Zurko reporting Zachery Tims cause of death, dated August 22, 2011. Another sore spot was agitated: Misuse of media—taking words filtering the intentions of a statement or written point of view. It’s imperative when we give a catchy tags or headers we fulfill the caption.
Per the comments posted on the above mentioned reporting examiner on the unfortunate death of Dr. Zachery Tims it is clear people see the importance in being unbiased, especially when it comes to flaws, imperfections and or demons we as human sometimes harbor. August 18, 2011 column titled Zachery Tims: Megachurch pastor in Orlando Fl found dead in NYC reviewed and addressed the speculation of his death after reading numerous articles and columns written in a biased pre-concluded style. The intention of August 18th column was to give an alternative perspective to an already perceived opinion on his cause of death. It’s important to recognize whatever the cause of death, whatever flaws Dr. Tims may or may not had, he was no different than any other human being when it comes to the neglect and or ignoring inner pain and discomfort, not allowing time for refreshing and refocusing some form of abuse is inevitable.
Additionally when we the public push our public leaders and figures to be bigger than life icons isolating them into the closet of fear unable to get necessary help when needed and turn on them when we find out they are human beings too; the dynamic of truth not just facts gets twisted. Does this justify wrongful acts of abuse deceit or a counterfeit life? Absolutely not: Neither is this an implication that Dr Tims life represented abuse and deceit. Quite the contrary, his life represented a mission and purpose to go beyond where you’ve been and experience a fresh start.
However, if we drop the issues of life with “That’s a problem” without giving possible antidotes the disease of abuse and neglect grows and fester into a growing addicted society placing blame on everything except the real subject matter. Wholeness, peace and comfort within self instead of looking for outside hope in a fallible solution.
You read Roz Zurko article dated August 22, 2011 and then re-read article dated August 18, 2011— The intention is to present the problem stimulate and instigate provoking thought and dialogue.
