With sporadic bundles of heat and humidity announcing the steady summer season, comes the Miller Tribe’s annually hosted Alex’s Lemonade Stand.
This charitable refreshment stand, benefiting pediatric cancer research “one cup at a time,” is in its sixth year running and aims to raise $10,000 for the cause. Visitors to this North Park neighborhood grand stand can bid on silent auction items, load up on discounted Legoland tickets (while supplies last), pledge research related volunteer hours and, of course, enjoy a cup of lovingly made lemonade. FM 94.9 will be broadcasting onsite, donating its popular audio ambience throughout the day. The success of ALS in years past promises a delightful, family-friendly event!
The Miller Tribe’s sixth annual ALS with take place this Saturday, July 30th from 10am-6pm.
The stand is located on the corner of Redwood & 32nd at:
3206 Redwood Street
San Diego, CA 92104
Folk who cannot make an appearance this Saturday and are interested in donating to the ALS cause are encouraged to visit the Miller Tribe’s fundraising page at alexslemonade.org.
