Decatur, Indiana-based Fleetwood RV, Inc. – whose brands include American Coach and Bounder – this week announced the nationwide rollout of its 2012 Providence and Discovery Class A diesel motor homes along with their new Terra Class A gas motor home.
“This year we focused on separating our diesel brands and adding more high-end, high-value features,” said John Draheim, President and CEO of Fleetwood RV, Inc. “Providence is at the higher-end of the price spectrum, so we added features like polished porcelain floors, a molded fiberglass roof and enhanced interior design with wall art and countertop edge detail upgrades.”
The 2012 Providence
Includes fours floor plans: a 40-foot, bath and a half model with 40” Sony® LCD mid-ship TV and 380HP ISC Cummins® engine (40K); a 42-foot bath and a half model with a luxurious master suite (42W); a 42-foot, tag axle model with plush L-sofa, 40” Sony® LCD mid-ship TV, and large L-shaped galley (42P); and a 42-foot, triple-slide floor plan with mid-coach galley and a full wall bath and ½ (42M).
Other top features on the 2012 Providence include 450 HP Cummins® 8.9L engine (42-foot models only), full-body paint, Sony® electronics throughout, high-gloss porcelain tile with decorative inserts, Aqua-Hot system (42M only), 2,000-watt pure sine wave inverter w/remote, 8.0 kW Onan® quiet diesel generator, hardwood cabinet doors/drawers, double roller shades, side-swinging luggage doors, exterior grill and galley (optional), wood window valances.
The 2012 Discovery
Features six floor plans and includes three tag axle options. New floor plans for Discovery in 2012 are the 42D – a quad-slide plan with a luxurious master suite; and the 42M – a full-wall-slide model with a Sony® 40” mid-ship LCD TV. These new floor plans round out Discovery’s 2012 line-up which also includes a 36-foot, quad-slide model (36J), two 40-foot models (40G, 40X), and a 42-foot, triple-slide, tag axle model with available bunks (42A).
“With our top-selling diesel brand, Discovery, we paid special attention to adding more refined value to the décor such as wall art and decorative inserts in the flooring,“ said John Draheim, President and CEO of Fleetwood RV, Inc. In addition to the these upgrades, other interior improvements including a dinette credenza that can function as a laptop desk, wood accent trim and added additional popular furniture options.
Additional features on the 2012 Discovery include 380HP Cummins® ISC 8.3L engine, full-body paint, Sony® electronics throughout, 2,000-watt Pure Sine wave inverter w/remote, 8.0 kW Onan® quiet diesel generator, porcelain tile floor with decorative inserts, hardwood cabinet doors/drawers, double roller shades, side-swinging luggage doors, 84” interior ceiling height, optional exterior grill and galley and chrome luggage door handles.
The 2012 Terra
The 2012 Terra features two floor plans: a 31-foot, dual-slide, mid-ship TV floor plan with a large rear bedroom; and a brand-new 34-foot dual-slide, side-aisle floor plan with mid-ship TV.

Highlights on the 2012 Terra include one-piece windshield, glazed hardwood cabinet doors with hidden hinges, soft touch ceiling, full basement storage, Flexsteel® furniture, Corian® countertops, and optional full-body paint.
The innovative “Hide-a-Loft” feature – a queen-sized, electronic drop-down bed with air mattress located above the driver/passenger captain’s chairs – is also an available option on both floor plans.
