On Thursday, July 21, 2011 The Filipino American Chamber of Commerce of the San Fernando Valley held their Filipino American Chamber of Commerce, SFV-LA Business & Networking Mixer. It was hosted by Bob & Vangie Crowther, and held at the FACC-SFV-LA HQ in Sherman Oaks, CA.
The event was held from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm and featured free giveaways, entertainment including live performances, gourmet food, and wine. Members and guests were invited to introduce themselves and speak about their companies.
“What another successful turn out! To all those who join us and attended our event, thank you all sooo much! We look forward to see all of you at our next upcoming functions and events. We will make sure to keep you posted.” said Mary Ann Rosete Omega, Vice President of the Filipino American Chamber of Commerce – SFV.
Some of the notable people in attendance were Maria Amor from Exotifit International and Exotifit For Humanity, David Hernandez, Joe Arciaga, Adrian Lecaros, Reuben Gobah, Rene Aaron, Attorney Roman Mosqueda, Al Greer and many more.
“I was glad I attended the San Fernando Valley Filipino American Chamber of Commerce Hot Summer Business & Networking last —. It was a great networking, had some business leads, I was entertained and I got to taste some great food from Vangie & Bob!” said Maria Amor, member of the Filipino American Chamber of Commerce – SFV., Founder and President of Exotifit for Humanity, Founder/CEO of Exotifit International and President of MLT Enterprises.
Ms. Omega announced during the meeting that effective July 21, 2011, Diversity News Magazine, published by Diversity News Publications, have joined as new proud media partner member of The Filipino American Chamber of Commerce of San Fernando Valley.
“I’ve always been a member and supporter of the chamber because of the great benefits I get for my business, so I encouraged others to join as well whether they are Filipinos or not, San Fernando Valley Filipino American Chamber of Commerce is open for everybody.” concluded Ms. Amor.
