Feist will be hitting the road this November in support of her highly anticipated new album Metals.
According to Spin.com, the tour will begin in Chicago, IL at the Riviera Theatre on Nov 4 (11/4/11). Other early confirmation dates include: Nov 6 Atlanta, GA – Tabernacle, Nov 8 Dallas, TX – Majestic Theatre, Nov 12 Los Angeles, CA – Wiltern Theatre and Nov 16 Portland, OR – Arlene Schnitzer.
No Canadian dates have been announced, but more shows are expected TBA.
The Juno Award winning Canadian singer-songwriter will release her follow-up album to 2007’s multiple Grammy nominated release The Reminder on October 4.
Metals was co-produced by long-time collaborators Chilly Gonzales, Mocky and newcomer Valgeir Sigurðsson (Bjork, Bonnie “Prince” Billy).
The 35-year old Amherst, NS native has also been posting video teasers of the record on her official site and has kicked off a color-by-numbers contest asking fans to contribute their own version of the album cover on Facebook. The winner will “win something special.”
