August 30, 2011 – Westfield Topanga announces its plans for Fashion’s Night Out Los Angeles on September 8, when the Center and over 40 retailers will host an evening of live entertainment, makeovers, fashion shows, giveaways, and a special celebrity appearance by Tori Spelling.
Now in its third year, Fashion’s Night Out is an unprecedented global initiative created to celebrate fashion, restore consumer confidence, and put the fun back in shopping. For one night only, designers, celebrities, models, and fashion editors in cities from Manhattan to Milan and London to Los Angeles will stage exciting, one-of-a-kind events in stores open after-hours to the public.
Westfield Topanga and over 40 retailers, including Louis Vuitton, Jimmy Choo, Salvatore Ferragamo, Smashbox, Stuart Weitzman and Michael Kors, have come together to create an incredible evening for shoppers, beginning at 6:30pm on September 8 in the center’s Canyon and Nordstrom courts. Shoppers will be treated to performances from Paris Loves L.A. and The Beckys; a live fashion show and makeovers featuring Jennifer Gimenez and Greg Zarian, and a session of fashion tips and hints with celebrity stylist George Blodwell.

Following the kick-off event, shoppers are invited to visit participating stores for an evening of fashion, food, and fun, including: a fashion show at Free People; shopping incentives and a reception at Michael Kors; a raffle from The Auto Gallery with a prize valued at $500; a cooking demonstration; a reception and gift with purchase at Smashbox; and a reception at Louis Vuitton. Offers and giveaways include a raffle grand prize valued at over $2,000.
Shoppers that present at least $250 in same-day receipts from 2 or more participating retailers will receive a $25 Westfield Gift Card by American Express. Offer excludes receipts from department stores and is valid only while supplies last. Must be redeemed at the Westfield Concierge.
