Taste of Tapestry, the reincarnation of the now defunct Tapestry in Talent festival, will be held over Labor Day Weekend at the San Jose History Park at Kelley Park. According to the web site, “Taste of Tapestry will feature local and national artists presenting their award winning and latest pieces. Taste of Tapestry will also have food, beverages (kid and adult), interactive kids learning experiences, top entertainment and a whole lot of fun.” This is definitely a kid-friendly event that will keep the whole family interested and occupied!
Taste of Tapestry will run from 10 am to 6 pm on both Saturday, September 3 and Sunday, September 4. Both days will highlight arts and culture of the area by featuring artists, entertainment, children’s activities, and local nonprofit organizations. The goal is to raise money for educational programs that both History San Jose and Tapestry Arts provide to schoolchildren every year.
Admission is $5 for ages 13-64; parking at Kelley Park is $6.
Festival hours are:
Saturday, September 3: 10 am to 6 pm
Sunday, September 4, 10 am to 6 pm
