The LDS Church even has a website devoted to employment and employment resources. Do not worry if you are not a member of the LDS Faith, you can still register for an online account by following these particular directions:
- Navigate to https://www.ldsjobs.org/ers/ct/job-seeker.jsf (or, if you select the hyperlink click on the link that says Job Seeker from the banner above the photo and below the LDS Employment Resource Services heading).
- A purple button says Obtain an LDS Account. Click on this button and it will direct you to a webpage that will have three options: Quick Registration – Verify Membership Later; Full Registration – Verify Membership Now; Register as Friend – Quick and Easy. The third option should be selected if you are not a member of the LDS church.
- Fill out the registration page and you have created an online profile for LDS Jobs
Once you have registered for an online account and profile at LDSJobs.org, one can begin creating their profile that is unique for them.
Another resourceful link that will be beneficial to the job seeker is to review this website on what to expect when visiting an LDS Employment Resource Center. This website will give you some basic information related to what to expect.
Those who work in the Employment Resource Center do so as volunteers. In fact, you may notice that they will have tags labeling them as Missionaries. These individuals serve the members of that particular stake, as well as the community.
Do not forget, if you have a Mormon neighbor; ask them about the employment resource center and how you can benefit from the resources offered.
