The ACC women’s basketball schedule is not out yet in full, but ESPN announced on Wednesday that three games involving Triangle-area teams will be part of its “Big Monday” package.
The first will be a road contest, as UNC travels to Connecticut on Jan. 16 at 7 p.m.
Then will come what should be the biggest games of the year at Cameron Indoor Stadium, as Duke hosts UConn on Jan. 30 at 7 p.m. before the Blue Devils host UNC on Feb. 6 at 7 p.m.
All three games will be shown on ESPN2 and available on ESPN3.com.
Duke finished 32-4 last season under Joanne P. McCallie while UNC was 28-9 under Sylvia Hatchell. The teams split a pair of regular-season meetings, with the Blue Devils beating the Tar Heels in the ACC Tournament final.
Both teams lost their regular-season meetings with Connecticut, the the Huskies also eliminating Duke from the NCAA Elite Eight.
