A rocky road seemingly behind them, the WNBA’s Atlanta Dream will need to stay focused and continue to take their game to new heights to keep their five game winning streak alive against former UCONN standouts Tina Charles, Renee Montgomery and forward Asjha Jones of the Connecticut Sun, who sit a game and half out of first place in the Eastern Conference.
Armintie Price, Lindsay Harding and the Dream will be on the road at the Mohegan Sun, July 31, Sunday at 5:00 p.m. after getting the win at home on Thursday July, 28 against the Los Angeles Sparks 89-80 in front of 6,700.
The Dream once again put up a complete team effort lead by second year player Angel McCoughtry, who scored 22 points, 11 rebounds and had 7 assists followed by Armintie Price who scored 14 with three assists and three rebounds. Izzy became untracked in seventeen minutes of play with 6-11 shooting and three rebounds and Harding pulled down six rebounds and scored 10 points.
