Diabetes Mellitus or its common name diabetes is a group of metabolic diseases causing high blood sugar and not enough insulin. The symptoms are frequent urination, high thirst and hunger. Blood sugar levels measure the amount of glucose in the blood stream. Glucose is the primary source of energy transported by the liver or intestines to the blood stream .It is absorbed into the cells by the hormone insuline which is made by the pancreas. Type 2 Diabetes occurs when the cells don’t use insulin properly.
Thanks to City of Burleson calendar, and wikipedia for the information. If you have diabetes $10 may go a long way.
