America’s partisan leaders have taken off their masks and revealed their true nature.
Tea Party Republicans have revealed themselves to be a Randian, selfish, close-minded cult with a fetish like devotion to the rich while demonstrating an irrational disregard for the poor, vulnerable and working classes.
Democrats under Obama have shown themselves to be cowardly, corporatist technocrats whose blinding stupidity, incompetence and weakness have made them complicit in the objectivist right’s “soak the poor” schemes.
If Obama was LBJ he would be negotiating with segregationists about how many states would have to abide with civil rights legislation.
The President is neither a conservative Democrat nor even as some say, a moderate Republican. He is a stone cold tecnocratic corporatist through and through, devoted to maintaining one brand and one company at all costs: Obama, Inc.
Beholden to no principle or ideology and concerned only about his image, his legacy, and his re-election, Obama has shown his true nature of a pathetic and mendacious leader who confuses concession with compromise and who views surrender as the functional equivalent of a cease fire.
Real leaders are not weak sauce, like Obama.
Leaders have to stand for something, fight for it, and have the ability to mobilize and motivate people to support them.
FDR was a leader, Reagan was a leader — though on opposite ends of the political spectrum. Truman and Einsenhower were leaders, both willing to sacrifice their own party loyalty to save the nation they loved. Clinton was a leader, though a manipulative one — and an incredibly effective and successful one who left America better than he found it.
Even the much-maligned Bush 43 was a leader with strong convictions and moved the country in the direction he wanted to. He made some very poor decisions, but he had the confidence and certitude of a leader while making them.
Obama has risen to the pinnacle of American politics not because of his nonexistent leadership skills, but in spite of them.
Obama has been fortunate to have irrational political adversaries who have self-immolated. Alan Keyes? Gimme a break! McCain appeared to lack economic knowledge and often seemed unstable and out of touch. Today’s Republican party make him look prophet like by comparison.
Regarding his controversial and narrow victory Hillary Clinton, a strong and competent opponent, Obama defeated her only by playing the race card to manipulate the media, the Democratic central planning ofices, and the gullible and now toothless antiwar movement into abandoning the Clintons and project onto Obama the center-left’s progressive ideals.
Now Obama chastises and condescends to the very people who goofed in falling for his hopey changey falderal.
A compulsive narcissist, he has been too busy preeening in the mirror to prevent the Ayn Rand right from controlling the narrative.
Obama is to blame for the current budget impasse and dismal economic outlook because he will not lead and fight for the right things.
His dismal approval ratings reflect this shocking reality: once America’s most beloved Presidential candidate, Obama currently one of most lame leaders to ever sit in the oval office.
God help America.
