Tuesday, July 26, 2011 was not just the first day that teams could sign undrafted free agents and start talking to veterans, but also the first day they could sign their draft picks from April. Early in the morning hours of Wednesday, July 27, 2011, DE Adrian Clayborn became the first 1st-round pick to sign as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and him have reached a deal.

DE Adrian Clayborn became first 1st-round pk under new labor deal to reach agreement on new deal. Blake Baratz and Bucs just finished deal.
No financial terms of the deal have yet been disclosed. Clayborn was drafted out of the University of Iowa by the Bucs in the first round with the 20th overall pick.
