Davidoff will be shipping its new “White Edition” 2011 to stores throughout September, with the newest vitola a Belicoso Supremo measuring 5 1/2″ long x 52 ring gauge.
The new cigar will feature a Dominican Criollo wrapper and Peruvian Corojo binder, with San Vicenete Ligero, San Vicenete Visus and Piloto ligero fillers from four different cultivation areas in the Dominican Republic that had been aged for more than five years to achieve their characteristic and balanced flavor.
The Davidoff White Edition 2011 will be sold in an individual white laquer box, with total production limited to 8,000 cigars. 3,000 of those will be available at a limited number of Davidoff merchants throughout the United States in September. The suggested retail price of the cigar is $19, before taxes. In addition to the classic white Davidoff band, it will also feature a footband with “2011” on it to mark its year of release.
It is described as having spicy, slightly sweet notes with a long lasting aftertaste.
