Here Be Dragons
Daniel falls asleep in a hotel room in Texas during a violent electrical storm. He suddenly wakes on a sofa in a living room in Michigan. Luckily, it is the living room of his old college friends, Tom and Leslie. Tom and Daniel were lovers in college. Tom decided to choose religion and marriage over his sexuality. He admits his “recovery” is a daily struggle, but one worth it for God. Leslie sees this miracle as a reason for Daniel, who claims to be a “gaythiest”, to realize that God is giving him a chance to forsake his homosexuality and “return to God.” On Fridays, after the show, we will moderate a short discussion with any audience members who wish to stay.
