Craig Ferguson is the first late night talk show host to take his show on location in Paris. Debuting on Monday, the talk show host and his colorful cast of characters on The Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson take on the City of Lights.
While the comparisons of the late night shows can always be made, this is the first time a show dabbles in literally making the streets of Paris a studio. Talking to locals, singing in front of the Eiffel Tower and sharing a moment of laugher with Geoff, the insanity of Craig Ferguson is delightful. All of it, including the double decker bus, is the opportunity for fans to see the show, as well as the city, in a new light.
“I used to spend a lot of time here. I haven’t been here in a long time,” said Craig Ferguson. “And I wanted CBS to pay for it.”
While Craig Ferguson may be joking on who is fitting the bill, the real winners will be his fans that get to see the City of Lights in a new, unrehearsed view. Capturing what we know as some of the best sights and sharing Ferguson’s unique view, the only thing left to do is enjoy the journey of the comedian and see how he is received.
