A deep trough over the eastern United States will continue to bring in mixed clouds to the region with cool temperatures expected for the Clarksville area. Temperatures today will be in the lower to middle 80s, slightly below current averages. Skies will become mostly sunny as high pressure begins to build in Tuesday and Wednesday. Temperatures will begin to rise into the upper 80s to lower 90s for the rest of the workweek, but another frontal system will begin to build into the region during the day Thursday. This will once again bring isolated showers and thunderstorms to the region Thursday into Friday. Looking ahead to next weekend, Clarksville will be in-between two systems causing partly cloudy skies with temperatures in the lower 90s.
