Sick of the sun? Had too much swimming pool? Don’t give up on summer fitness yet, there’s still 3 more weeks before school starts and your kids still need a place to stretch their legs. If the dog days of summer are leaving you feeling like it’s just too hot for outdoor fitness, try visiting one of these indoor facilities to keep you active with your kids:
City Recreation Centers: Your most economical option is most likely your city’s local recreation center. Many of these centers offer access to indoor basketball courts, racquetball, tracks, etc. Find out what is available in your city today!
Trafalga: Trafalga fun centers are located in both Orem and Lehi. Choose from a variety of activities including laser tag, miniature golf, and rock climbing.
Jack N Jill’s: Jack N Jill’s in Lehi offers both Laser tag and bowling. Jack N Jill’s also has a facility in American Fork that offers bowling only.
Classic Fun Center: At Classic fun center in Orem, you can roller skate with your kids, then take a rest while you send the kids bouncing around the blow up toys or climbing through the playground.
Provo Beach Resort: Provo’s newest attraction, the Provo Beach Resort offers a variety of activities to keep you moving. As a family, play a game of laser tag, mini croquet, or bowling. Next, do some climbing with your kids on the parent-friendly, 5-level playground. For bigger kids and adults, the resort also features a ropes course, flowrider, and golf simulator.
Jump On It: Located in Lindon, this trampoline park offers unlimited jumping potential for you and the kids. You can play a jumping version dodge ball or basketball, play on the bungee trampoline or Velcro wall, even practice skate or snowboarding moves with the bounce board. Blow up toys are also available for the kids.
Kangaroo Zoo and Monkey Island: If you’ve already had your exercise for the day and you just need a place for the kids to stay active without tearing the house apart, visit Kangaroo Zoo in Pleasant Grove, or Monkey Island in Lehi. The kids will have a blast running from one blow up toy to the other while you relax and watch them play from the sidelines.
