With the spiritual gifts God gives us, we find unbelievers always asking questions to approve or disapprove these gifts. Through past discovery and insight, the so-called believers do the same thing too and will also come to someone with such God-given abilities when in need of understanding what God has given them whether in a dream, vision, or verbally. Therefore, once they know you have the gift of interpretation, prophecy, or seer, they will request the answers to their questions because they don’t hear from God. Yes, we are the body of Jesus Christ, and all have a calling to encourage, edify, and build others that need confirmation or clarity.
After watching a great science fiction thriller, PUSH, shows such gifts/abilities that certain people inherited through DNA of a parent-carrier as ‘the division’ wants to use it for their own selfish needs. Sometimes, believers want to use the abilities of another believer for selfish reasons. Moreover, we may have picked up and sensed this once selective people knew about the gifts we have, or shared for others to hear. As a SEER (and like in the movie called them WATCHERS), God never lets us see the whole picture meaning we can see only a glimpse of it, not always the beginning or ending, so that we always rely and depend on Him for knowledge, wisdom, and/or discernment.
Those with the gift of prophecy, we have to remove FLESH or SELF when delivering the message from GOD. It is not easy sometimes since we picture ourselves in it or can relate to it, or want to give the best explanation. We also have to be careful with our tone, how it is delivered or said to the one who will receive/agree with the message. Usually, God has already told them, shown them, or gave it to them and the prophet/prophetess is only confirming it. Therefore, the delivered spiritually-filled message can be viewed as a second-opinion, or hearing it to reaffirm what has already been said by Yahweh (God). We can receive the message once we have removed everything that is not like God and aside all impurities, or unclean thoughts. Too many times, we focus on the gifts God has given someone else with the ‘why not me’ attitude. Other times, we focus on the delivery of the message and tone of the giver (can be a prophet, pastor, accountable person) instead of the actual word coming from God through the vessel He assigned to share it. In other cases, we also focus too heavily on the words, whether we take it in a positive or negative manner. Listen attentively to what God is saying through that person and be humble to receive correction, change, or commands. Soar with what God has created you for and be willing to obey and execute everything He has given you! God can use you as the mouthpiece and carry out His will for others to experience His goodness for all humankind.
