Raising funds for cancer is a never-ending occurrence. The need continues to grow as the number of cancer patients grow. Also, the number of survivors grows which creates a need to provide follow-up services, especially for the numerous side-effects survivors experience due to treatments. So, there is a continuous need to raise funds to provide the services necessary.
On August 2, Cindy Carter (co-founder of the Cancer Support Foundation, Inc.) will be interviewed on “Anna’s Journey,” a new blog talk radio show that airs every Tuesday at 10:00 AM.
There are hundreds of new internet-based talk radio shows now being broadcast. “Anna’s Journey,” hosted by this author – Anna Renault, will be interviewing a variety of guests – many of them will be of interest to the cancer community, such as Cindy Carter and the CSFI as well as environmental issues and the military. These themes translate to the other topics written by me, here on Examiner.
Cindy Carter will be sharing information about the Cancer Support Foundation Inc. (CSFI), some of the ways they raise funds and their process for spending the money – all of which goes directly to cancer patients. CSFI is an all volunteer organization in Maryland and they can always use more volunteers and more donations.
Stop by the radio show on Tuesday to hear Cindy explain how and where the money is spent. It is definitely different than any other cancer support organization in town!
