Singer/Songwriter, Bruno Mars was just added to perform on the 2011 MTV Awards show. The multi-talented singer, who currently has hits receiving airplay nationwide, will join singer, Chris Brown, actor, Jonah Hill, Rick Ross, Selena Gomez, Kim Kardashian, and a boat-load of your favorite “it” artists on the famous unpredictable stage.
“We’re thrilled to have Bruno Mars bring his exceptional talent to the VMA stage,” said Amy Doyle, executive producer of the 2011 VMA’s and MTV’s EVP of music and talent. “He is one of the most exciting live performers today, and with his artistic versatility, he will undoubtedly deliver a standout performance.”
The Hawaiian singer, (Mars) who naturally picked up his talents from his mother, a professional vocalist, and his father, a Latin percussionist from Brooklyn, will likely perform “Grenade” or “The Lazy Song” LIVE on the MTV Stage.
The 2011 VMA’s will not take place in the MTV headquarter City of New York, instead the show will air “En Vivo” in Los Angeles at the Nokia Theater, Sunday, August 28th.
