Although Tucson has some of the finest Mexican restaurants in the world, it’s nice to treat your palette to another country now and then. And now Tucsonans can enjoy the pleasures of a new Italian restaurant in town that serves great food in a charming atmosphere.
Brio Tuscan Grille recently opened at 150 W. Wetmore Road to the delight of Tucson pasta fans. The restuarant sits at the southeast corner of the Tucson mall shopping complex and is open seven days a week. It is part of the Bravo-Brio restaurant group, BBRG, which caters to an upscale, yet affordable clientele.
One thing that sets Brio Tuscan Grille apart from other chain restaurants, is its ability to provide a unique dining experience to its customers. The food is tasty, the decor is warm and inviting and it manages to attract a wide variety of customers who make the experience enjoyable. Also, it is the only Brio Tuscan Grille in town, you won’t find one on every corner.
The word “Brio” means lively or full of life. A visit to the restaurant allows the diner to feel the richness of a Tuscan Villa atmosphere. “To eat well is to live well”, is a Tuscan philosophy that resonates throughout the room.
The food at Brio is prepared simply using fresh ingredients. The menu includes: steaks, fresh seafood, made to order pastas, appetizers, salads, desserts, an extensive wine selection and more.
Monday-Friday Brio offers a $2.95 Tuscan taster bar menu from 3-7 p.m. and from 9 p.m. to closing. On Thursday evenings guests can take advantage of $5 martini night in the bar.
For an opportunity to have northern Italian food, a visit to Brio Tuscan Grille is definitely worth the trip. Reservations can be made by calling (520) 887-2388. For more information see the website here.
