Bravo reality programs received five Emmy nomininations for the 63rd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards, announced on July 14, 2011, by the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. The Emmy Awards will be presented on September 18, 2011 and televised live on Fox TV. Bravo’s nominees included “Top Chef” and “Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List.”
“Top Chef,” which received its fifth consecutive nomination for Outstanding Reality Competition Program and has earned nominations for seven consecutive years. “Top Chef” helped Bravo become the first cable network to win in the category last year and has extended Bravo’s record as the only network with nominaitons in this category for seven consecutive years. “Top Chef” received four nominations in the Reality Television cetagory this year, including: Outstanding Directing for Nonfiction Programming, Outstanding Cinematography for Reality Programming and Outstanding Picture Editing for Reality Programming.
