August 19, 2011 – The Bravo Network is currently re-editing footage on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills due to Russell Armstrong‘s suicide.
The scenes that are being edited include lots of footage with Russell, as his and Taylor Armstrong‘s storyline was going to continue being a major part of season 2.
Russell Armstrong’s body was found by his wife Taylor and a friend
Sources told TMZ that Russell was very concerned about being seen as a villain because of the way he was portrayed on the reality show.
Reports have now surfaced that in June, Russell actually beat Taylor so badly that she had to undergo facial surgery, claims TMZ. At first, she tried to keep it a secret, but not being able to show her face for several weeks would become a problem eventually.
‘Real Housewives of Bev Hills’ cast ordered not to talk about Russell’s suicide
Taylor ultimately confided the incident to co-stars Camille Grammer and Kyle Richards, who urged her to tell Bravo.
When Russell found out Taylor told on him, he sent Camille a threatening email, which was described as “the rantings of a lunatic,” by sources who read it.
Friends and family stunned at Russell Armstrong’s suicide
It is not clear what the footage on season two contained, or how much of Russell and Taylor’s issues will be shown. It is also not known how Russell’s suicide will be played out on the show, if at all, but Bravo has already confirmed that the funeral will not be aired.
