Nashville’s wrestling fans all know Big Bubba Perry.
Having him be one of the top supporters of wrestling, especially the new Crossfire Entertainment, and the Make-A-Wish Foundation, he is teaming up with the Make-A-Wish Foundation on Saturday, July 9, 2011, and Sunday, July 10, 2011, for Big Bubba’s Bash Softball Tournament.
Celebrating its tenth year supporting the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the tournament brings some of the top talent for softball tournament and to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The tournament will be split between two parks. The Men’s A & B Division, the Co-Ed Division and the Finals will be held at Drake’s Creek Park in Hendersonville, Tennessee. Cedar Hill Park in Madison, Tennessee, will have the Women’s Division and the Men’s C & D Division on Saturday only!
“We start at 8 a.m. on Saturday and go all day and all night,” said Bubba Perry, who organizes the event. “Sunday, we keep playing until we have our winners.”
This is a family event with Perry’s family, wife Suzi, and his children Bobby and Cody, all help with this event.
But the tournament will be all for the kids! Last year, the tournament granted nine-year-old Sarah’s wish to take surfing lessons in Hawaii! She and her family were able to take a break from her treatment for neuroblastoma and this year the event is wanting to grant two more wishes!
The Perry family and the Make-A-Wish Foundation would like to thank their sponsors: Sumner Roofing and Investment Strategies of Hendersonville for helping make this tournament possible.
Perry has also said that he is going to be helping with the upcoming Crossfire Entertainment’s Tribute to the Fairgrounds 3 for wrestling fans and should be available to purchase tickets at the tournament to help the Make-A-Wish Foundation!
