Is a crack of the Veterans alliance beginning to show? It appeared so on Wednesday night’s episode of Big Brother 13.
After Adam and Dominic were nominated for eviction, Adam had to put his faith that Jordan will keep her promise of targeting Dominic because he’s the ringleader of the Newbies. Later, Jeff and Jordan asked Adam to throw the Power-of-Veto competition.
However, Rachel was frustrated that Cassi wasn’t nominated despite letting Jordan know that she wants her gone. Porsche joined Rachel in wanting Cassi gone. Meanwhile, Daniele continues to communicate with Dominic about the feud between Rachel and Cassi while telling Rachel that she wants Dominic to win the POV and get Cassi out.
Rachel and Brendon warned Jordan that Cassi can’t be trusted, but Jordan doesn’t want to be appeared two-faced and believed that Rachel’s claims were exaggerated. Jeff was sick and tired of Rachel putting too much pressure on Jordan to getting rid of Rachel and wants a Rachel-off. Jordan, ever a Rhodes Scholar, told Cassi her theory on the reason Rachel doesn’t like her. She believed the reason is because Rachel’s is simply jealous of Cassi’s beauty and felt insecure. Brilliant deduction, Jordan!
The Power-of-Veto competition had Jeff/Jordan, Dominic/Adam, and Rachel/Brendon competing as individuals. Prior to the POV competition, Rachel and Brendon were discussing the possibility of using the Power of Veto to save Dominic/Adam in order for Jordan to nominate Cassi/Shelly. In the challenge, they have to chew gumballs while walking on a plank and place the wad on a board. The goal was to fill the board to complete a Veto portrait without falling off the plank. If a contestant fall, he/she is out of the game unless they can eat slop for two weeks if they want to enter the game again. But, fall off the second time, that person is off for good. Jordan was the first contestant to fall was preparing to eat slop in order to enter again until Jeff told her not to. After Jordan decided not to entered again, Rachel was upset and shouted comments to her. Then, after Rachel fall, she immediately entered again. That move upset Jeff. In the end, Dominic beat the odds and won the veto.
After the POV competition, the fireworks began among the Vets alliance as Jeff and Rachel exchanged words. As a result, Rachel was upset and ran to cry in the bush. Rachel, Rachel. You have to get it together. You’re making a fool of yourself. Didn’t anyone told you, “There’s no cying in Big Brother?” Brendon have to come over to console her and, once they went back inside, urged her to apologized to Jeff/Jordan because they still need them.
Even though Rachel apologized, Jeff still have problems with Rachel’s mouth and wonder if it will be a good idea to backdoor Brendon/Rachel to get rid of her. When she asked Cassi and Shelly on what to do, they suggested to Jordan to backdoor Brenchel as well.
After Dominic used the POV to save himself and Adam, Jordan decided to stick with the Vets alliance and nominated Cassi/Shelly.
This examiner really hated to see either of them go but glad that Brenchel is staying around for, at least, one more week. They’re entertaining. We can see if either Cassi or Shelly get evicted and chat with Julie Chen Thursday night.
