It was The Vets Strike Back on Wednesday’s episode of Big Brother 13 as Rachel and Jordan joined forces to strike revenge on the Newbies, especially Shelly. Fearing that she might be gone, Shelly tried to use her family of husband Tony and daughter Josie to stay alive. Will her plea work? We’ll see Thursday night.
On the last episode, Porsche made a huge mistake for her Newbie alliance by opening Pandora’s Box to get $5000. However, there was a twist, and it was that the players are playing in duos again for one week. As a result, Jordan and Rachel teamed up while Shelly and Adam joined forces.
It means that, if Rachel or Jordan wins the Power-of-Veto, she can pull the duo out of nominations and forces Porsche to nominate Adam and Shelly as the two have to campaign against each other.
Of course, Porsche regretted opening Pandora’s Box while Kalia’s upset that she opened the box for $5,000, but she doesn’t mind now that she learned that she also have $5000. Shelly was the most upset because she have a huge target on her back because she went against the Jeff & Jordan’s alliance and vote to evict Jeff.
Meanwhile, Rachel and Jordan were all giddy as little school girls because they know that, if the win the Veto, they’re safe. Not surprisingly, they are aiming to get rid of Shelly because of all the drama she caused inside the house.
Jordan talked to Kalia and Porsche about a possible deal that will keep them save until the Final Four, all while Rachel was mostly quiet.
Jordan and Shelly were in the bathroom together, and Jordan gave her the silent treatment. The two haven’t spoken to each other since Jeff’s eviction, and Shelly was crying about it because she went against America’s Sweetheart of Jordan. Funny, this examiner thought it was Sandra Bullock. She told Adam outside and talked about being loyal to her alliance of her family of Tony and Josie. To paraphrase Rachel, nothing comes between Shelly and her family!
The POV competition was an endurance competition where all of the contestants have to hang on to the dummies with their original partners who were evicted, and the last person holding on wins. In a shocker, Adam was the first one eliminated. Is he go for anything in the house besides looking goofy in the elf costume? Also, not surprisingly, Rachel wrapped her legs around Brendon (the dummy), as usual. During the competition, Kalia seemed to have a farting problem as she can’t stop passing wind while hanging onto her Lawon dummy. Do we need a bigger hole in the ozone, Kalia? That’s not we expected from the black Carrie Bradshaw. Anyway, when Jordan acted like her silent cheerleader, Rachel won the POV. As Shelly puts it, “She was on Brendon’s back. That’s where she likes to be.” After they won, Rachel dedicated the win to Brendon and Jeff. It’s not like they died, Rachel!
Rachel and Jordan were ecstatic with her victory while the Newbies were sad because they knew that either Shelly or Adam will be evicted. Kali told Porsche that they have to work with Rachel and, down the line, have to convince Jordan to dump Rachel. She reminded Porsche that she haven’t broken a word to Jordan.
In order to clear the air with Jordan, Shelly told her that she’s sorry about evicting Jeff. Also, she once again used her family to save her hide by talking how much she wants to fight for them and stay loyal to them. Tony and Josie must be so proud of Shelly using them to convince people to let her stay. Meanhwile, Jordan apologized to her about the outburst she had earlier and said that she was upset that Jeff’s gone. Even though she accepted Shelly’s apology, Jordan will forgive but not forget.
Shelly talked to Jordan and Rachel about a deal to get them to the Final three while going against Kalia and Porsche. Rachel and Jordan still not sure if they could trust her.
Not surprisingly, Rachel used the POV to save herself and Jordan. Of course, Porsche nominated Adam and Shelly.
We’ll see if either Adam or Shelly will get evicted and chat with Julie Chen as well as joining Brendon, Jeff, and Daniele inside the jury house Thursday.
