Can you have too many alliances and be too two-faced? Based on what Daniele had done on Wednesday’s episode of Big Brother 13, the answer could be yes.
After they were nominated for eviction in the last nomination ceremony, both Dominic and Adam were sure that they were simply pawns for Rachel/Brendon. They talked to Rachel about it, and she proposed to make a new deal. Upset that she apparently forgot about their previous deal, Dominic told Daniele about how unsure he is about Rachel keeping her end of the deal. Daniele wanted to create chaos among her Vet alliance by trying to convince Rachel to backdoor Jeff/Jordan.
Meanwhile, Rachel told Daniele that it was weird that Jordan didn’t talk to her and how upset she is. Daniele suggested that it might be a good idea to backdoor Jeff/Jordan.
While soaking in the tub and feeling her feet, Brendon discussed their next move and said that he’s more worry about Jeff than Dominic.
In the Head-of-Household room, Brenchel told Dominic to throw the Power-of-Veto competition so that they can control the nomination, and he agreed.
Meanwhile, while Dominic and Daniele continued with their love/hate relationship by having a pillow fight, Jeff became concern about how much time the two spent together. He doesn’t trust Daniele and wants Dominic gone to break up their little alliance.
Back at the HOH room, Rachel told Daniele that Dominic will throw the POV competition. After hearing it, Daniele wasn’t pleased and tried to convince her that it would be a good idea to keep him by saying that she can trust him. Rachel now wondered if Daniele’s desire to backdoor Jeff/Jordan is good for her or for Daniele. Later, she as well as Brendon, Jeff, and Jordan were discussing Daniele and how much they don’t trust her with Dominic. Even though she doesn’t trust Daniele, Rachel doesn’t trust Jeff & Jordan as well.
The POV competition had Rachel/Brendon, Adam/Dominic, and Jeff/Jordan taking part in a spelling competition where, as individuals, they have to pluck hair for a large dummy which contains letters to put in a bin. Then, they have to use the letters to spell a word, and the contestant will the longest correctly spelled word wins the POV. For Jeff, this was a shot of redemption after he spelled the so-called word, “Tectronics” in his season. Rachel tried to win by spelling the word “moisturizing,” but she mispelled it with “mouisturizing,” which is like trying to moisturizing Bullwinkle the Moose’s hair. In the end, Brendon won with the word “UNDERSTANDING.”
After the POV, Daniele tried her best to save Dominic by ensuring Brenchel that they can trust him. But, when Rachel asked her on the possibility of nominating Lawon, Daniele was shocked. She tried to convince Rachel by saying that Jeff/Jordan are plotting an army to overthrow Queen Rachel and Brendon.
Meanwhile, Dominic tried to form his own alliance by trying to convince Shelly to join him and Daniele in getting rid of Jeff and , then, Brendon down the line. Knowing that Dominic was planning to get rid of Jeff/Jordan, Shelly told Jordan about his plans. In turn, Jordan and Shelly told Brendon and Rachel about it, and Rachel was upset that Daniele had a side alliance. Meanwhile, Brendon was upset and said, “Daniele is trying to lead a Calgary against us!” Yes, Brendon actually said that Daniele is leading a Canadian city against them. Maybe he thought that Daniele was leading the bucking broncos and rodeo cowboys from the Calgary Stampede. This examiner haven’t seen this brilliant insight since Blutto delivered that memorable speech from National Lampoon’s Animal House. Anyway, Brendon clarified by saying that Daniele was starting an army against the Vets, and Dominic was leading the charge. He told Jeff about the plan, and they want Dominic gone to weaken Daniele. Based of Daniele, the Vet alliance are once again united, for now.
In the end, Brendon didn’t use the POV, and Adam/Dominic remained on the block for eviction.
Eviction is on Thursday with the evicted houseguest to be interviewed by the “Chenbot” herself, Julie Chen.
Don’t forget to vote online on what the Have-Nots will eat next week. This examiner would like to suggest sardines and sea weed.
