Tuesday morning, Rachel and Brendon argue outside on the couches about Rachel being drunk Monday night. Brendon is giving Rachel a huge lecture about her being making a fool of herself, and of him, because she was drunk.
Brendon says that he felt stupid about her shouting pet names (“Bookie”) to Brendon across the yard (that he thinks should be said in private). He said, “It hurt my feelings.”
Rachel said that she tried really hard to remember that it bothered him, but since she does it all the time and in front of his friends at home, she forgot and did it anyway and was sorry for it. She said that everyone was drinking and that she was just having fun.
Brendon said, “I don’t want you to look poorly on television. I’m ready to grow up.” He continued by saying that she looked like a “lush” on television and that he doesn’t want her to look dumb. He also said that he doesn’t want people to think their relationship is a joke.
Rachel disagrees, saying that she doesn’t care what other people think.
At that time, Cassi walked over to talk to Brendon and Rachel about her small “issue” she had with Porsche Monday night.
Cassi left and Brendon and Rachel continued to argue about Rachel and Porsche hiding the beer and wine, which Brendon said was really immature. Rachel is not completely honest about how much she drank last night.
Rachel called Brendon very frustrating. She is annoyed that he is arguing about this with him — both last night AND this morning again. Brendon said that everyone thought Rachel and Porsche were “obnoxious”.
Feeds go off.
Feeds back on.
Brendon admits to needing to work on his being impatient.
Rachel says, “I don’t know what to do. I’m not allowed to talk game play to others, I’m not allowed to call you endearing names. I’m not allowed to drink. That’s how I feel.”
Finally, Brendon says, “OK, we won’t talk about this anymore. I may just end up throwing this HOH so they put us up and send us home.”
Rachel gets angry. “Are you kidding me, Brendon?”
Brendon is trying to explain that he doesn’t want the game to get in the way of their relationship.
Rachel says that if the throws the HOH, she will be “unforgiveable mad” at him.
Rachel says they came to Big Brother to have fun and spend time together. Brendon seems like he is being totally unreasonable.
Brendon continues to try to get Rachel to understand that he doesn’t want her to bring others into their relationship and call him pet names, not to get drunk and not to talk game play to others without him. Brendon says there gets to a point where she crosses the line.
The argument goes on around and around in circles.
Brendon says, “Your behavior last night…”
Interrupting, Rachel says, “I don’t need a dad.”
Brendon says, “I don’t need a kid.”
Rachel threatens their engagement and Brendon says that he is “reaching the end of his rope.” He says, that he thinks she should be acting more responsibly and that if she threatens their relationship again, he’s not going to take too kindly to it.
Rachel finally says that she loves Brendon more than anything, she is sorry for everything and that she tries to do everything for him. She says that he has a beautiful, smart girlfriend who loves him more than anything in the world and that her calling him ‘Bookie’ should be the worst of their problems.
More to come…
