It’s a four day festival, in three locations and has nine (yes nine!) outstanding events! The Taste of LA is coming September 2-5, and it is one of the hottest events to be held over the Labor Day Weekend.
At the first venue, The Taste in Beverly Hills starts on September 2nd, with Beverly Hills hosting several special events over the four day weekend. The first event, ”Burgers and Beer”, will be held at the famous 9900 Wilshire Boulevard. Sponsored by Peroni and Eater LA, this spectacular extravaganza has more than 25 restaurants, and up to 30 brewers and distilleries serving up their selections. Your admission includes unlimited tastings and samples from all exhibitors.

September 3rd in Beverly Hills brings out “Secrets from the Kitchen and the Cellar”. At the same location, 9900 Wilshire, the program runs from 11AM to 3PM. Tickets again are from the Taste, with the discount code WEB.
September 4th features two events. The first, a “Brunch on Rodeo Drive”, has food, Bloody Mary’s Bellini’s and Mimosas. Held from 10AM to 2PM, your ticket again gets you unlimited tastings and samples of many fares offered on the most famous street in LA’s most famous Zip Code. On Labor Day, “Picnic in the Hills”. The event, hosted by personality Giada de Laurentiis, has samples from over 30 restaurants and chefs. This is a “kid friendly” event, again at 9900 Wilshire and has not only the tastings from the restaurants, but also features wine seminars with experts from a variety of wineries.
Moving to Hollywood, the Taste starts on Friday with the “Art of Mixing” featuring Chef Ricardo Zarate. Your event ticket also gets you special DJ’s for great music, plus the food and drinks from some of LA’s best restaurants. Promo code online is WEB.
Saturday evening in Hollywood is “Taco Tequila Tryst”. The food truck star Roy Choi will be featured, giving the evening a run of the best food trucks in Los Angeles. The event, at The Studios at Paramount, has online tickets.
Sunday at the studios at Paramount features “Street Eats”. Again the best food trucks in town will be showing their wares, and attendees will be able to choose their favorites from the variety of truck food on site.
In Downtown LA, the Taste will be at the Orpheum and Tower Theatre. Running from 8PM to 12AM, “Food Noir” is a gastronomic delight. In addition to the vintage LA restaurants featured, the theatres will be presenting film clips and commercials from the storied past of Los Angeles.
