Barbie and Ken’s Wedding Photos
Rock ‘N Roll Bride is featuring the photographs of French photographer Beatrice de Guigne in a cute photo shoot called “Barbie and Ken Finally Get Married.” The article is mostly a series of professionally shot images that portray realistic wedding photos — just like in a human wedding!
Preparing for the Wedding Shoot
On her personal blog, Beatrice de Guigne explains it took her three days, shooting about two hours a day, and another two hours to edit the wedding photos. Before that, it took her “weeks to find and collect all the accessories, to simply prepare the wedding!”
Plastic Wedding Accessories
One of those accessories is the hat from this Barbie Fashionistas Swappin’ Styles which Barbe wears down the aisle. Other shots include the bride getting ready, the groom hanging out with his groomsmen, the bridesmaids, exchanging vows, the kiss, the wedding party, the table settings, the food, the first dance, and a plethora of other common wedding scenes, except these are all plastic!
About the Wedding
Beatrice told Rock n Roll Bride: “Barbie & Ken were married at Faraway Castle, in Plasticity. The bride bought her dress from The Fairy Godmother shop and her shoes from the Cinderella Store. The groom wore a suit from The Prince Charming Emporium. The couple met more than 50 years ago (yes I know they look young). Barbie was tired of waiting so she asked Ken to get married.”
