Bachelor Pad 2 premiered Monday night, and ABC has been promising fans an explosive season. There is already plenty of backbiting and flirting, and Scottsdale fans are already picking who they want to see win and lose. The first part of the show featured a cocktail party and “meet and greet” amongst all the contestants, and things got off to a fast start. Chris Harrison greeted all of the contestants, and then they went inside to mix and mingle with one another.
Blake Julian is immediately distracted by Holly Durst’s legs and short skirt, and Holly says to the camera, “It’d be a lot more fun if Michael wasn’t coming so I could flirt with Blake. Is that wrong of me?” (Rumor has it these two develop a romance this season)
Michelle Money says of Graham, “I was excited to see Graham. He’s darling, he’s really cute.” (Rumor has it these two get quite cozy as the season develops.)
Chris asks Justin if he had a girlfriend while he was on The Bachelorette. Rego replies, “So what. I did. I got caught. Big deal.”
Erica says that from what she’s heard Vienna has a “golddigger’s mentality” and has “been around The Bachelor block.”
Justin makes a vomiting motion in the background as Kasey arrives and hugs Vienna. Justin says that Kasey sounds like a frog, and “Kermit the Frog went out with Miss Piggy, I’m gonna do whatever I can to break them up.”
Holly of Blake: “He uses really big words, which is really attractive.”
Michael to the camera of Holly, “I still think the world of her… I’m not exactly at the point where I’m ready to start dating again.” He adds being in the Bachelor Pad 2 house with Holly will be hard since “having feelings left over will complicate things.”
Ella says that “Drama does follow Vienna around.” Gia and Ella hug, but there is clear frostiness and tension between Gia and Vienna. Jake arrives and tries to make nice with Vienna and Kasey.
Kasey, to the camera, says “I can’t physically punch the guy [Jake], cause then I’d go home, but I’m mentally beating the crap out of him, and it feels freaking awesome.”
Jake pulls Kasey aside to talk, in hopes to defrosting him and lessening the target on his back. Kasey says that he knows there are two sides to every story, but he has heard a lot from Vienna and seeing her scared and upset makes him upset. While they shake hands, Kasey is determined to get Jake off the show as soon as possible.
