Monday night, Scottsdale fans watched as Jake Pavelka went home on Bachelor Pad 2. Next up was a new competition, and the “Kissing Contest” was back, much to the dismay of some of the competitors. This was sure to get dramatic and intense, as well as stir up some romance. When Chris Harrison announced competition, the crew in the house were underwhelmed. But, there are big stakes attached to winning the contests, so how did things go during this crazy contest?
As soon as Chris told them what they were about to do, Kasey said he was “out” and Vienna said it was a disgusting competition. Michelle said she was not going to do the contest, because she wants to remain a good example for her young daughter. Ella is also a mom, but she has her eyes on the $250,000 prize and knew she needed to compete. Blake Julian was thrilled with the “free pass” to kiss Holly Durst, as the two have been quite flirtatious so far this season on Bachelor Pad. Michael Stagliano, Holly’s ex, was anxious but nervous.
Holly was up first, and most of the guys kissed her “like Grandmas” out of respect to Michael. Then it was Blake’s turn, and he did not hold back. Holly was clearly flustered by Blake’s kiss, and he was quite confident in his skills. He certainly played to win. Vienna warned all of the guys that she didn’t want anybody to get too into the kisses with her, and everybody just gave her a slight peck other than Kasey.
Next it was the guy’s turn to be blindfolded, and Ella said she was very confident in her kissing abilities. Erica felt sure she would win, due to her well-maintained lips with semi-annual injections. While she thought she had the skills, the guys weren’t taken by her kisses. Even better, every lady thought Kasey’s breath was awful.
For Michael’s turn, he was anxious for Holly’s kiss, and he knew which one was her immediately. Holly threw herself totally into the kiss, giving him a passionate one. When Blake’s turn came along, Holly threw herself right into that one too. She said kissing Michael felt normal and natural. Kissing Blake, on the other hand, was “a whole ‘nother story. I didn’t want to stop.” It looked like the rest of the crew perhaps was looking for sleeping bags and a meal to help pass the time as Holly certainly took advantage of the opportunity.
The votes were tallied, and the winners were Blake Julian and Ella Nolan. They both earned roses and the opportunity for a one-on-one date outside the Bachelor Pad house. Not everybody was terribly happy about the vote, and Michael was definitely worried that Blake would take this opportunity to make a move on Holly. How will the dates go, and what will happen back in the house? Stay tuned for further recaps.
Stay tuned for more recaps from a big episode of Bachelor Pad, where romances develop and hearts are broken. Bachelor Pad 2 airs Monday nights on ABC, Channel 15 in the Scottsdale area.
