It is not easy to live life right when there are so many challenges in the world today. I am here to direct your attention to the obvious: Life Is Worth Living. Life is Precious. Life is Where You Lay Out Your Love within your friends, family, neighbors and yourself. I suspect that with all of the havoc and craziness in a world filled with stress, it is time to reach out for a bigger purpose. A grander way of looking at things. Especially when life gets you down, making you feel useless, worrisome and defeated. You see words like “unemployment”, “hurricanes” and “earthquakes” that makes us all wonder, what is there to look forward to. And that answer is Jesus Christ.
In the physical world, He was a construction worker and sustainability genius ahead of His time. A man of great physical strength with a medium built frame and strong. A philosopher. An individual who demonstrated great compassion with others. Someone with a great deal of serenity. As He remains now to love, give love and receive love. He made miracles happen when there was nothing left to aspire to. He saw his own future and was a man of the earth. As of today, He remains available to anyone who seeks Him, just ask the Pope! Heck if the athiests like the Pope, and Pope is a big fan of Christ, then perhaps the apple does not fall far from the tree.
I venture to guess that he lived green, even back to 2,013 years ago. Here is my theoretical view of the man known as Christ. In tribute to those who have lost their hopes or homes lately, their sense of encouragement and hope, and their way to re-build due to one unforeseen condition or another, I am here to tell you that, the Sun (Son) of God is there anytime you need to reach out to Him. Be optimistic for this too shall pass.
Here is my ‘off the wall’ interpretation of how I view God in His infinite wisdom to the world.
A passage of Psalm 23 in it’s most King James Edition.
The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. (A great teacher making the way in joining us together while not having us wander for so long as He protects us, whether we like it or not and, a zoologist at best)
He makes me to lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside the still waters. (Loves agriculture, a great environmentalist; whereas we are directed to just relax, calm down and ‘chill’.)
He restores my soul, He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His names sake. (While stress overwhelms us, we are reassured that ponders amongst us, as we regroup by meditation and prayer)
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me, Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. (Protector, and was the ultimate inductor light of life, was the best light to lead the way, similar to GE)
You prepare a table before me in the presense of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil, my cup runs over. (Totally be grateful for what you have, as you could be surprised with good things)
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and i will dwell in the house of the Lord. Forever. (Gotta have faith)
How does this relate to green living? It is good to practice in the natural sense of life, as green faith could flourish, and all you need is to create your own little pasture in your life filled with the light of the sun, giving to life and creating the substance of all things hoped for.
Peace+Godsend…MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! ;)
