If you’re looking a family-friendly and free event this Labor Day weekend in Atlanta, Arts on the Creek is just the ticket. With bright, sunny days in the forecast for the weekend, it’s the perfect time load up the family and head out to Johns Creek this weekend for Arts on the Creek.
The fifth annual event kicks off with a Juried Fine Art Show. The opening takes place from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Johns Creek Arts Center on Friday, September 2nd.
Arts on the Creek is a free and family-friendly community festival that takes place at Perimeter Church over Labor Day weekend. Live entertainment, activities and games for kids, food vendors, original artwork by a wide variety of artisans, and informational booths will all be on hand for a fun-filled family day. The Johns Creek Chamber of Commerce, the City of Johns Creek, the Johns Creek Arts Center and Fifth Third Bank are sponsoring the event. Plenty of free parking is available on both days.
Mr. Popper’s Penguins will be shown free of charge on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. on the north end lawn of Perimeter Church campus.
